The event was held online with the participation of Design Department Chair Lecturer Serdar Dik and Graphic Design Program Chair Lecturer Ertuğrul Erbey. During the event, alumni shared their professional experiences gained after graduation, providing students with valuable insights into current industry expectations, career opportunities, and the realities of professional life.
Throughout the meeting, alumni expressed their opinions and suggestions regarding the education they received, while discussions also focused on how the program's knowledge and skills have contributed to their professional careers. Alumni stated that the education they received largely met the expectations of the industry and emphasized that practice-oriented courses and project-based learning had made significant contributions to their professional development. They also expressed their satisfaction with maintaining strong ties with the department and highlighted the importance of organizing similar events on a regular basis.
At the end of the event, an evaluation and satisfaction survey was shared with the alumni participants. The survey results indicated a high level of satisfaction with the event, demonstrating that the experience-sharing session was beneficial for both students and alumni. The findings also emphasized the importance of sustaining initiatives that strengthen collaboration and communication between the department and its graduates.
