The "Muş School Festival," organized in collaboration with our university's Technical Sciences Vocational School (TBMYO), the Muş Provincial Directorate of National Education, the Muş Provincial Directorate of Family and Social Services, and various civil society organizations, was well-attended.
The events were coordinated by Instructor Şakir Çetin, a faculty member in our university's Design Department. The event, supported by Cihannüma, the Ebu İshak Foundation, the Education Support Platform, the Emin Education Association, and the Society for the Dissemination of Knowledge, featured a variety of valuable presentations. Family Counselor Ebubekir Gözüm's presentation on "Media and Perception" was held at the Muş Alparslan University Faculty of Theology Conference Hall, while a presentation titled "Parenting in the Digital Age" met with attendees at the Provincial Directorate of Family and Social Services. Educator and author Yavuz Akyol's presentation, "Palestine: Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow," was held at Şehit Davut Karaçam Girls' Anatolian Imam Hatip High School. The first program, held at the event, was attended by Dr. Fatih Şevgin, Director of the Turkish Graduate School of Theology; Dr. İzzet Gülaçar, Vice Dean of the MAUN Faculty of Theology; academic staff; and numerous students. Other presentations attracted significant participation from various institutional leaders, teachers, students, and civil society organizations.
Participants learned about the media's impact on society and perception management techniques in the "Media and Perception" presentation. The "Palestine" presentation evaluated the Palestinian issue in light of historical and current developments. The "Parenting in the Digital Age" presentation highlighted the responsibilities of parenting in a digitalized world and family communication issues. Commenting on the event, Dr. Fatih Şevgin, Director of the Turkish Graduate School of Theology, expressed his great pleasure in being a part of the events. Emphasizing the importance of these topics for public awareness, Şevgin expressed his gratitude to all the NGOs, speakers, and program coordinator Lecturer Şakir Çetin who contributed to the event.
