Graphic Design Program
History
The Graphic Design Program within the Technical Sciences Vocational School of Muş Alparslan University was opened in the "2019-2020" academic year by the decision of our University Board of Directors.
Degree Earned
Students who successfully complete all courses in the two-year education plan and have at least 120 ECTS are granted an associate degree in Graphic Design.
Admission Requirements
The Graphic Design Program accepts students according to the Basic Proficiency Test (TYT) score.
Transfer to the Next Level
Students who graduate from the Vocational School Graphic Design Program can continue their education by being exempted from the courses they have taken, such as Graphic Design, Photography, etc. departments of the relevant faculties, which they can choose from their own professional fields with the Vertical Transfer Exam, and they can also benefit from the Undergraduate Completion Programs of Open Education Faculties.
Graduation Requirements
Graduation Requirements In order for the student to graduate, he/she must be successful in all courses given in the 4 semester period and have a GPA above 2. In addition, the student must have completed a 20-day Professional Internship and been accepted.
Employment Opportunities
Graduates of the program become "Graphic Design Associate Degree Program Graduates". These graduates can find jobs in advertising agencies, press and broadcasting organizations, and television channels in all areas where visual design is used. Graduates of the program can open their own businesses, as well as work in medium and large-scale printing and publishing organizations, graphic design studios, advertising agencies, the media sector, and public and private sector organizations with a promotion unit.
In addition, students who graduate from the Graphic Design Associate Degree program can take the Vertical Transfer Exam and complete 4-year undergraduate programs such as Photography, Graphic Design, Visual Arts, and Visual Communication.
Measurement and Evaluation
Students are given 3 exam rights each semester: Mid-Term, End-of-Term, and Supplemental Exams. The student's success is evaluated according to the Relative Evaluation System.
