The academic staff of Muş Alparslan University Technical Sciences Vocational School (TBMYO) Design and Handicrafts Departments visited Şehit Yücel Kurtoğlu Fine Arts High School. The visit was made to evaluate the cooperation opportunities between the two educational institutions and to exchange ideas on joint projects as external stakeholders.
The visit was attended by TBMYO Design Department Head Lecturer Serdar Dik, Handicrafts Department Head Lecturer Mikail Sevindik and Handicrafts department instructors Lecturer Dr. Abdulkadir Öznülüer and Lecturer Emre Koç. The visit, hosted by Şehit Yücel Kurtoğlu Fine Arts High School Principal Turhan Sur, was accompanied by Art teachers Orhan Baburhan and Zeynep Soğukçelik. Details regarding possible joint studies between the two institutions and seminars and workshops to be organized within the scope of career days were discussed during the meetings.
Participation in Career Days coordinated by Şehit Yücel Kurtoğlu Fine Arts High School and opportunities for contributions from relevant departments of the university were discussed. The content of four different artistic programs was determined with seminars and practical workshops to be held by the instructors of the Design and Handicraft Departments, and the date ranges of these programs were agreed upon. After the meeting, the instructors of the Design and Handicraft Departments visited the workshops of Şehit Yücel Kurtoğlu Fine Arts High School and examined the student works on site. The visit, which concluded that more events should be organized to strengthen the cooperation of both institutions and contribute to the professional development of the students, ended with a group photo of the participants.
